How can you improve your focus throughout the day? That is a question that was posed in one of the comments under the videos. (Thank you very much for posting that.)

One of the best things you can do to improve your focus is to have a plan for the day.

When people don’t have a plan, they are not crystal clear on what their top priorities are for the day, then their minds tend to wander because the brain hasn’t settled in on what is that priority. You don’t need to have your entire day scheduled every single minute. In fact, that’s not very productive because you know there are going to be some types of interruptions or something unexpected, of course, is going to be asked or requested, but it’s really important that you have an understanding of what are your required meetings for the day, how much work time do you actually have in between those meetings, and what priority tasks need to be completed in between those meetings during that work time.

So starting out your day with that plan is going to help you stay focused, and that way your brain knows exactly what it’s supposed to work on when you get those openings in between the meetings.

In addition to that, something else that will help keep your brain focused is simply walking around, taking a break every 30 minutes or 45 minutes. Whenever you hit the end of that task, make sure that you take a walk around the office so that way you can get the juices flowing again. Walking also helps reactivate the problem-solving cells that we have in our brains, so make sure that you take breaks throughout the day.

You can improve your focus by having a plan for the day and taking breaks throughout the day.
