Overall Time Distribution: The Friday Question That Changes Your Week
You can watch my video by clicking on the graphic below or read my thoughts beneath it:
One of the steps you can take in implementing my Mind Before Minutes is deciding on your overall time distribution. What does that mean? It means that on a Friday afternoon, instead of asking yourself the question, where did my time go? – you are asking yourself, where does my time need to go next week?
If you’re asking the first question, that means you do not feel like you are in control of your time, and that is not a great feeling.
With the second question, you are being strategic, you are being proactive, and you will have better control over your time because you’re getting ahead of the game.
So think about this: what is everything that you’ve accomplished and checked off your list? Great. Next, what is coming down the pipeline? What do you absolutely need to get done the following week? And when you get those done, is there any other priority that you can work on so you might actually feel like you’re getting ahead?
So remember, at the end of each week, we want your question to be, where does my time need to go next week? And that’s another step in Mind Before Minutes.
