3 Daily Habits That Improve Your Life

Sleep

Since time management is all about mind management, daily habit number one is to get a good night’s sleep because in order for your brain to make great decisions about how you use your time, it helps if your brain is well rested. So, please get enough sleep.

3+3

Habit number two is each night when you close out work, no matter what time you stop working, have a plan for the next day. I call this the 3+3. Choose the top three priority tasks you need to complete and also select a backup three in case things do not go according to plan with the first three.

Morning Calm

Habit number three is after you wake up from that good night’s sleep, do not reach for your phone to check communications! Instead, make sure that you do something more relaxing for your brain and body like eating breakfast or stretching or meditating or just having a lovely conversation with your significant other before you grab for that phone.

And there you have it – three daily habits, simple habits, that you can do on a daily basis that will make a huge difference with your time management and improve your life.
