How a Transformational Money Mindset Can Improve Your Productivity

How a Transformational Money Mindset Can Improve Your Productivity

Mindset is a critical part of your path to success – or your path to elsewhere. If you have a positive mindset, you can accomplish great things. If you don’t have a positive mindset, you can probably guess what the result will be.

Understanding how and why you think the way you do, and then working with your brain (instead of against it) is a big part of what I teach my time management clients. However, time management isn’t the only application; mindset can affect your financial state and wealth accumulation as well. (I blogged about improving your productivity through financial planning here.)

I had the opportunity to interview author and coach Leisa Peterson about how mindset affects so much of what we do. We covered a lot of ground, including:

*avoiding the scarcity mindset of playing life to not lose; instead, shift to an abundance mindset in which you are open to so many possibilities

*examining self-sabotaging behaviors – why we do them and how we can get them to stop

*being more compassionate to ourselves

*when we constantly view our state as not sufficient (in any area of life) without identifying what sufficient means to us, we get absolutely nowhere and drive ourselves into the ground

*why some people use financial success as a substitute for emotional fulfillment

She also shared her A.W.A.K.E. framework for how to better approach money management through a transformational money mindset.
